Job Description As a Security Officer Access Management in Brownsville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Document incidents, access activity, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
