As a Mental Health Counselor at Ace Allied, you will operate in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your daily routine while having access to a supportive network of peers. You will utilize electronic health record systems such as AVATAR to document and manage client interactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary assessments and document patients' mental health status from consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to establish suitable treatment plans.

• Develop personalized intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based interventions that promote mental wellness.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
