Associate Manager, Regional Construction Job Id: OOJ - 1056 | Posted Date: 06/09/2025 | Location: Irvine, CA, 16329, US Pay Rate: USD 81,000-100,000 per hour Overview Permanent position focused on overseeing construction projects within the Tri-County area. The role involves proactive communication with construction management, operations, property and asset management teams and serves as a primary point of contact for contractors and customers. Responsibilities Communicate proactively with construction manager, construction operations, property management, and asset management teams. Perform projects in strict accordance with established lease terms and Link SOPs. Accurately forecast capital cash projections. Complete projects within forecasted time frame and budget guidelines. Build strong vendor relationships to foster a positive reputation. Maintain vendor selection integrity by adhering to corporate guidelines. Increase the number of qualified vendors in the region. Assist the CM in providing budgetary guidance to the asset management team for deal creation and total cost understanding. Act as a point of contact for contractors and customers regarding construction-related issues. Provide regional reporting for monthly cash forecasting to the Construction Operations team. Input timely project and budgetary updates with supporting documentation. Manage costs related to external AE teams, permit runners, municipal reviewers, and inspectors. Travel within the Tri-County an average of 3 days per week to oversee construction activities and related projects/issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction/building science, engineering, architecture, or design strongly preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of commercial construction experience. Experience in new construction, renovation/rehab, development, and industrial construction. Ability to review and comprehend construction documents. Experience with project management software (Yardi, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, Excel). Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of renovation and construction. Experience reviewing and identifying critical details from lease documentation. Understanding of legal contracts, AIA documents, and other related construction draw forms. Strong communication skills with all project stakeholders.
