Sr Finance Manager

IDR is seeking a Finance Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is an integral part of the production and manufacturing industry, focusing on financial planning and control activities for a US plant project. The position involves managing budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, and process improvements to support operational success.

Position Overview for the Finance Lead:

• This role owns controlling and financial planning activities for a US plant project, implementing budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes aligned to functional policies.
• It covers direct/indirect cost analysis, budget vs. actual variance analysis, revenue/expense budget monitoring, and trend identification to forecast annual results.
• The position is an individual contributor operating as an established subject-matter expert with little to no supervision, though it may direct, coach, or mentor one to two junior employees or contingent workers.
• It requires the ability to lead process improvement and design initiatives, interpret complex business issues, influence cross-functional stakeholders and external service providers, and present concepts to leadership committees.

Requirements for the Finance Lead:

• 8+ years of progressive finance/controlling experience
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance analysis (actual vs. budget)
• Direct and indirect cost analysis in a plant/manufacturing environment
• Experience owning end-to-end processes and leading complex projects independently
• Process improvement and process design experience
