General Inpatient Neurohospitalist

UK King's Daughters, a 455-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a Neurohospitalist. 

The incoming physician will earn annual salary guarantees plus wRVU productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential $400k+). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes seven weeks off and manageable call.

This is an inpatient clinic position that involves a 7 on 7 off schedule, infrequent inpatient call and NO after-hours call (teleneuro after 5 pm). UK King's Daughters is powered by the EPIC electronic medical records system. 

Our collegial practice features four neurologists with fellowship training in a variety of disciplines, including epileptology, vascular, neuromuscular and headache. Our program also features excellent support from an experienced team of specialists, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, physical medicine and neuropsychology.

UK King's Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our neurologists enjoy vibrant practices. Other program highlights: Our NEURO physicians perform EEG, ambulatory EEG, V-EEG, and NCV/EMG (with assistance from experienced neurodiagnostic technicians).

The practice location, Ashland, Kentucky, is a safe, family-friendly community with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining. Ashland also features access to beautiful state and national parks and a variety of outdoor pursuits (hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, cave exploration, hunting and fishing). Ashland is around two hours from Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; and Lexington, Kentucky.
