Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid (or eligible) Special Education Teaching credential
• Experience working in self-contained classrooms, preferably with mild/moderate caseloads
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to supporting diverse learners
• Availability for the full 2026-2027 academic year

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate individualized learning needs
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
