About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and development. This executive leadership position is focused on building and leading the full people function, with a strong emphasis on designing and implementing HR infrastructure, programs, and culture to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent. The successful candidate will be a strategic advisor to the executive team, translating business goals into workforce strategies, and will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance. A key aspect of the role is to define and operationalize a company culture that supports the organization's values and fosters a sense of belonging for all employees. Applicants for the Vice President, Human Resources role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 12 years' of progressive HR leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting distributed, hourly, field-based, and corporate workforces, with experience in the construction, utilities, energy, or related industries. The role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to build and scale HR functions, and experience in areas such as talent acquisition, leadership development, and HR compliance. The VP of HR will be expected to be a trusted advisor to the executive team while remaining connected to employees at all levels, and experience with union-represented workforces and craft/trade recruiting is a plus.
