Under the direction of the Wisconsin Works (W-2) Deputy Director, the W-2 Training Coordinator will provide training to W-2 staff in the areas of Wisconsin Works (W-2) policy, Operations Memos, CARES Worker Web (CWW), Wisconsin Works Program (WWP), as well as internal Operating Procedures and other supplemental tools & aids. Will work closely with the W-2 Quality Assurance team to identify individual and group training needs. Will provide individual and small group training on a routine basis.

Training Coordinator W 2 Job Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with the W-2 management staff, identify, develop, and implement staff trainings on W-2 policies and procedures. Areas of intense focus will include DCF Monitoring 2.0 performance criteria (including AAA, WPR, CFD and customer focus), and meeting the agency goals and contract requirements.
• Conduct supplemental in-house training sessions on internal agency policy and procedure.
• Participate in the development of program specific training curriculum. Participate in the development of agency training materials and in-house desk aids, as well as identifying best practices.
• Maintain an electronic repository of all training documents, checklists, tools, etc. Ensure repository and staff training binders are up-to-date and/or purged as necessary.
• Will recognize and adapt to various learning styles and modify training based on individual needs, including the use of various technologies.
• Obtain DCF training materials and service delivery related manuals. Ensure that staff are trained and following prescribed & required actions.
• Provide CWW and WWP application training both in a small-group settings and on an individualized basis.
• Provide additional and supplemental training to newly hired and existing staff to ensure understanding, knowledge retention and learning for comprehension. Conduct “make-up” training sessions when staff are absent.
• Will assist in the creation and maintenance of internal UMOS Operation Manual (SOP's).
• Will maintain a caseload of up to 20 participants for the purpose collaborative case management with newly hired Financial Employment Planners (FEPs)
• Attend all necessary internal and external meetings, training, and conferences. Perform other duties as assigned.

Training Coordinator W 2 Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma plus two years college in communication, program development, education, or related field or related experience.
• Able to demonstrate through either education or combination of education and 3-years of professional experience, the knowledge of staff training, development, and adult education techniques.
• DCF “New Worker Training” certification required. Strong knowledge of Wisconsin Works policy and guidelines.
• Knowledge of CWW, WWP, ECF, KIDS, and other state provided case management computer tracking systems.
• Able to effectively develop, lead and facilitate group-training sessions. Able to effectively perform one on one training sessions.

Pay: $17.45 - $21.82 per hour
