Quality Control Specialist

Basic Qualifications: At least five (5) years of related IT experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or other related scientific or technical field, or at least eight (8) years of related IT experience and no degree requirement Problem-solving, goal-oriented, willing to learn, with good testing skills and logical intuition. Positive attitude toward work and other people, team player Excellent verbal and written communication ability Candidate must successfully pass a government public trust background investigation. (Previous background investigation (NACI) or clearance is a plus) 5+ years of experience with testing large scale information systems 8+ years of experience with full software development life cycle Understanding of PBS domain, related systems, and processes Strong understanding of enterprise software development architectures, patterns, and best practices 4+ years’ experience with open-source tools and technologies Experience with Linux, JBOSS EAP, Jaspersoft, SoapUI Strong understanding of relational database architecture Experience with SQL Experience with test case automation and using automated testing tools is a strong plus. Experience with CM process and version control tools Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP)/Agile Development Process/Test Driven development process highly desirable Well-versed in using tools such as SQL Developer, SharePoint, TFS/JIRA, and Google apps.
