This position will work with other technicians to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. In this position they must have a basic knowledge of how to set up and operate workstations, perform visual and dimensional inspections needed to manufacture the products at Cirtec.Key Responsibilities:Has the standard function of operating workstations used in manufacturing processesProficient in set-up and loading component materials into product specific tool.Responsible for following established documentation for product manufacturingDemonstrates strict adherence to all safety procedures, GMPs, GDP, quality system guidelines and company policiesAccurately documents all work performed on inspection reports and customer travelersReads and follows process control documents, work instructions, and standard operating proceduresPerforms in-process visual inspections with and without the use of microscopes in accordance with the requirements stated in the Process Control Document or as otherwise stated on drawings or work instructionsPerforms various dimensional inspection using specific dies or gauges, or dimensional inspection systems, verniers and micrometersPerforms basic workstation set up and troubleshooting tasksMaintains cleanliness of work areas, machines, tools, and equipmentAssists Quality Control with inspection duties as requiredMust Have:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is requiredAssociates Degree or minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in medical device industry2+ years’ experience in a technical fieldWorking knowledge of drawings, ability to interpret nomenclature and dimensionsKnowledge of ISO & FDA requirementsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including both verbal and written communicationStrong attention to detailAbility to provide detailed information to engineers for determining root cause in order to identify the appropriate corrective actionsAbility to track fine details visually and discover defects in the inspected partsBe able to read, write and speak fluent EnglishGood to have:Experience with LEAN manufacturing a plusCompetitive market salary from $26 to $38 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.Cirtec Medical Corporation considers for employment and hires qualified candidates without regard to age, race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law.
