CNC Lathe Operator

Location: Auburn, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Overtime as needed)

We are seeking motivated and dependable CNC Lathe Operators to join our growing manufacturing team in Auburn, California. This position is open to both entry-level candidates looking to start a career in precision machining and experienced operators seeking an opportunity to advance their skills. The CNC Lathe Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machines, performing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

We provide training for entry-level candidates who demonstrate mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

• Operate CNC lathes and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.
• Make basic machine offsets and adjustments as trained.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing or machining.
• Ability to learn technical skills and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous CNC lathe operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar systems.
• Experience performing machine setup, tool changes, and offsets is a plus.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials and parts.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise and moving equipment.

Pay Range: $20.00-$32.00 per hour DOE (Depending on Experience)

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn, CA.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $95680.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Auburn,CA.

This position is anticipated to close on Aug 28, 2026.
