Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in East Orange, New Jersey for the 2026–2027 school year .

This position is primarily full-time at 32.5 hours per week , but the district is also willing to present the opportunity to part-time SLP candidates . The selected SLP will support elementary students along with early childhood students in several additional schools.

SLP Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide school-based speech and language services to elementary students and early childhood classrooms.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct speech-language therapy
• Supporting elementary-aged students
• Working with early childhood students across additional school locations
• Assessing students' speech and language needs
• Developing and implementing appropriate therapy plans
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and educational teams
• Maintaining required documentation and student records
• Supporting students' communication and educational goals

Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Active New Jersey SLP License
• New Jersey Department of Education (NJ DOE) certification
• Ability to meet standard New Jersey credentialing requirements

Schedule Flexibility

The district is looking for a full-time SLP , with the standard schedule being 32.5 hours per week .

However, the district is also willing to present part-time candidates , making this an option for SLPs who may be seeking a reduced schedule.
