Security Operations Manager

A growing enterprise organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Lead to support security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and operational security initiatives across a complex technology environment. This role will serve as a key member of the security team, partnering with technical and business stakeholders to help maintain a strong security posture, support incident management activities, and drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity operations. What You'll Tackle Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and operational security issues. Coordinate incident response activities, escalation processes, and remediation efforts. Support security monitoring platforms and operational security technologies. Perform security investigations and document findings, actions, and recommendations. Assist with vulnerability management activities, remediation tracking, and security assessments. Support identity and access management (IAM) processes and security administration activities. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams to address security risks and operational concerns. Maintain security procedures, documentation, and operational reporting. Contribute to audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and security awareness efforts. Support continuous improvement initiatives across security operations and risk management programs. What You Bring Experience working in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or a related technical discipline. Hands‑on experience investigating security events and supporting incident response activities. Familiarity with security monitoring, endpoint security, threat detection, and operational security practices. Experience supporting vulnerability management and remediation processes. Understanding of identity and access management concepts and security controls. Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and security technologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Experience working within structured security, risk, or compliance environments. Nice to Have Experience with security monitoring and incident management platforms. Exposure to security governance, risk management, or compliance initiatives. Familiarity with industry security frameworks and best practices. Experience supporting regulated or security‑sensitive environments. Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, CISSP, or related credentials.
