If you enjoy working with tools, reading schematics, troubleshooting problems, and seeing a finished product come together, this is the opportunity for you!What You'll DoAs an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a vital role in building and testing equipment from start to finish in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.Perform complete mechanical and electrical assembly using hand and power toolsRead and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, blueprints, and service manualsLayout, build, and wire control panelsAssemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boardsInstall wiring, terminals, electrical components, jump fuses, and panelsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issuesRepair and replace components as neededComplete both repetitive assembly tasks and complex custom buildsEnter production data and utilize computer systems for documentationSupport warehouse, packaging, and other production-related activities as neededWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experienceStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprintsExperience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyKnowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical assembly techniquesBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entryPreferred QualificationsExperience building control panels and electrical systemsFamiliarity with software beyond Microsoft OfficeAutomotive repair, diagnostics, inspection, or maintenance experienceUnderstanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting principlesStrong attention to detail and quality standardsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
