CAD Drafter

Job Title: DrafterJob Description We are seeking a talented Drafter to join our team, focusing on electrical drafting using AutoCAD for new substation projects, upgraded substations, or maintenance tasks with substations. Responsibilities + Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD for electrical drafting tasks. + Work on new substation projects, upgrades, and maintenance tasks. + Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met. + Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders. + Participate in the design process and make efforts to grow beyond CAD work. Essential Skills + Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD. + 0 to 5 years of drafting experience. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to ask questions and be a proactive learner. + Computer and technology savvy. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in consulting or utility industries is a plus. + Knowledge of other design software such as MicroStation or Inventor is beneficial. + Desire to learn and understand the reasoning behind design decisions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
