Hiring: Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist Position: Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist Interview mode: In person We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist to support the Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS) for Medicaid Reporting. This senior-level role combines Business Analysis, Data Analytics, BI, SQL, Testing, Data Visualization, AI Prompt Engineering, and Healthcare Reporting to support critical Health & Human Services initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Gather business, technical, and data requirements from stakeholders Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications Lead test planning, test case creation, traceability matrices, and UAT activities Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis Collaborate with business users to create dashboards and reports Design and validate Power BI/Tableau visualizations Develop AI prompts and reusable prompt libraries for data retrieval Train business users on AI-assisted reporting and data literacy Validate AI-generated outputs and mitigate hallucinations Support data governance, compliance, and reporting standards Work closely with Data Engineering, IT, and Program teams to improve reporting solutions Required Skills: 10+ years of Business Analysis / Systems Analysis experience Requirements Gathering & Business Process Analysis Complex SQL development and data analysis Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Test Planning, Test Cases & Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) Power BI and/or Tableau Dashboard & Report Development Data Visualization Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills Experience translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences Agile project experience Healthcare or enterprise reporting experience Preferred Skills: Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse (BI/DW) Healthcare, Medicaid, or Health & Human Services domain Data Governance & Data Quality Data Literacy Training Staff Mentoring & User Training AI Prompt Engineering Streamlit with Python Responsible AI practices AI Prompt Catalog development Regulated industry experience Top 10 Skills: Business Analysis | SQL | Power BI | Tableau | Data Analytics | Requirements Gathering | Testing/UAT | Healthcare Data | AI Prompt Engineering | Data Visualization Important Note: 100% Onsite in Austin, TX Only Local Texas candidates will be considered Healthcare/HHS experience is highly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket
