Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities Month-End and Year-End Close: Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that financial records are accurately closed and financial reporting requirements are met; prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries; perform account reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies; maintain organized and detailed records with supporting documentation. Financial Reporting Support: Collaborate with the accounting team to provide accurate and comprehensive data for the preparation of company financial statements. Fixed Asset Accounting: Assist in the recording of acquisitions, disposals and depreciation, maintaining accurate records and performing reconciliations. Internal Controls: Comply with established internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and mitigate risks. Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows and automate manual tasks within the financial reporting and accounting functions; leverage technology solutions to drive process optimization, improve accuracy, and reduce cycle times. Qualifications Educational and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in corporate accounting and internal controls. 1‑5 years of experience in a related position preferred. Proficiency with SAP financial system preferred. Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Attention to detail for financial data entry, reconciliations and documentation.
