Account Sales Representative

Job Description

Our Client in Edison, NJ, is seeking a Strategic Account Sales Representative and an Emerging Account Sales Representative for a Direct hire role.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Pay Rate: $65-70K DOE

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary corporate contact for executive decision-makers, directors, and procurement heads at major food chains and franchises.
Work closely with warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure seamless multi-pallet and truckload deliveries across regional distribution hubs.
Formulate, negotiate, and close complex, high-volume annual supply contracts, ensuring competitive pricing structures while protecting profit margins.
Monitor commodity trends and competitor supply capabilities to proactively protect and grow market share in the enterprise franchise space.
Manage a high-volume sales funnel, moving prospects quickly from initial outreach to close.
Secure initial "land" contracts with emerging companies, then quickly identify immediate upsell opportunities as they scale.
Continuously analyze your territory to identify high-growth accounts to prioritize for fast-track development.
Conduct high-impact, persuasive product demos tailored to solve immediate operational pain points for mid-level managers and directors.
Maintain a high level of daily sales activity to consistently hit monthly and quarterly quotas.

Qualifications & Skills

2–4 years of B2B sales experience (food manufacturing, broadline distribution, or beverage ingredient sales experience is a PLUS).
Proven ability to manage a heavy account load and close deals within a reasonable window.
High resilience, exceptional time-management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Proficient with CRM tools, sales engagement platforms, and data analytics tools to optimize territory management.
Bilingual Skills: English is required; Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is a major plus
