Software Engineer — Backend & Cloud 

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA • Employment: W2, Full-Time • On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend services in Go and Java.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for distributed systems.
• Deploy and operate services on GCP or comparable cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement JWT-based authentication and enforce API security standards.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Couchbase for data storage and retrieval.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate actively in Agile delivery processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with strong Java and Go skills.
• Proven experience building cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms, and familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL and Couchbase or similar databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, automated testing (TestNG, Selenium), and pipeline automation (Jenkins, Docker).
• Understanding of API security, JWT authentication, and distributed system design.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within Agile teams.
