Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Associate to join its Corporate Investment Funds Practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in private investment fund formation and related operational matters, contributing to a dynamic team advising fund sponsors globally. Duties Advise on structuring and fundraising of private investment funds. Handle internal sponsor arrangements and co-investments. Manage fund operations and compliance matters. Provide counsel on regulatory issues affecting asset managers. Requirements Minimum of three years of relevant experience. Experience with private investment fund formation. Knowledge of fund operational matters. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Illinois preferred. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
