School Occupational Therapist | Federal Way, Washington

This opportunity is based near Federal Way, WA, with immediate start and commitment through the end of the school year-renewable for the next academic year. You'll work full-time, engaging with a diverse student population and collaborating closely with school staff.


Key Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license required
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Must have an active Medicaid provider number
• Current CAQH profile and credentialing with multiple insurance companies required
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and ability to participate in school activities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Track progress, maintain meticulous documentation, and communicate effectively with families and school teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the achievement of students' educational goals
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance standards for school-based OT
