Job Summary: Washington, DC (District of Columbia) Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER)
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) setting, supporting patients with urgent, critical care, pediatric, and trauma needs. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering safe, high-quality nursing care while promoting a positive patient experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights 3 x 12s night shift; minimum 36.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license in the state/district of practice; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; 1 year ER experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (highly desired); Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience
• Additional Information: The ED is a fast-paced environment treating all types of patients, including urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. ED nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
