Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery is needed at a healthcare facility in Washington, DC. Candidates are required to bring their license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district on the first day. The position involves night shifts of 12 hours each, working three days per week, with an eight-week contract.

Job Details:

• Location: Washington, DC
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; experience with electronic fetal monitoring using AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) standards; labor experience with postpartum (PP) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor with postpartum experience preferred, LRDP (Labor and Delivery Rapid Response Program) experience, and proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record and Fetalink documentation.
• Additional Information: The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean). Equipment used includes fetal monitors, and documentation is completed via Cerner and Fetalink.
