I opened my agency in 2000 and currently lead a team of four. I've been with State Farm for over 40 years, beginning my career as a team member shortly after graduating from West Virginia University. I'm a proud Mountaineer fan and enjoy golfing with my family, traveling, and spending time with my two dogs. Giving back to the community is incredibly important to me. I'm involved with Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB), an organization that makes sailing and boating accessible for individuals with physical and medical disabilities. It's rewarding to help create opportunities for children and families to enjoy experiences they might not otherwise have. Our agency offers PTO, health benefits, a life insurance policy for every team member, and a Simple IRA with employer match. We also believe in recognizing hard work through fun office competitions, team lunches, and regular team-building events. Our office is upbeat, supportive, and enjoys celebrating success together. Debbie Hart - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
