Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. Job Summary and Qualifications FT Nights Neuro Medical Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate care for patients. The registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families. Responsibilities: Perform assessments and reassessments, develop individualized plans of care, administer medications, document clinical care, educate patients, maintain equipment, and communicate patient needs. Conduct patient rounding to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards. Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and patient care appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service. Promote customer service initiatives. Utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet patient needs. Perform technical skills and procedures. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience. Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification. Pursue and complete Med‑Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire. TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility. It is Tennessee’s first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience. The facility includes 3 helipads, new ICU and medical/surgical floors, burn care services, a CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation program, an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center, and an accredited chest pain center with PCI.
