Cash Applications Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)Title: Cash Applications Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)Pay: $25.00/hour (overtime eligible)Location: Charlotte, NC (fully onsite near SouthPark)Schedule: Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM with an 8-hour workdayDress Code: Business casualKey Responsibilities:Process high-volume cash receipts from lockboxes, credit card processors, and other payment sourcesPerform daily bank and account reconciliationsPost cash receipts into the accounting system accurately and timelyResearch and resolve unapplied, misapplied, or unidentified paymentsAudit historical cash activity and assist with clearing payment backlogsWork closely with the collections team to resolve discrepanciesRequired Qualifications:2+ years of cash applications or accounts receivable experienceStrong bank reconciliation experienceExperience processing high-volume paymentsHands-on experience with lockboxes, payment processors, and customer payment databasesAdvanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProfessional, reliable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree (high school diploma required)Experience working in a service-based industryFamiliarity with banking and payment portalsInterview Process:One in-person interviewInterviews are being scheduled this week
