Inside Sales Representative – Medical Imaging & Supplies Location: Santa Monica, CA Job Type: Full Time | In Person Industry: Medical Imaging | Medical Supplies | Healthcare Sales About the Opportunity Spectrum Medical Imaging Company is a privately held, full-service medical imaging equipment and supply distributor with more than 40 years of experience. We have completed more than 1,000 equipment installations and serve hundreds of imaging centers, hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare facilities nationwide. We are expanding our sales organization and looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who wants to build a long-term career in medical sales. This is not simply a transactional sales position. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop their own customer base, grow into larger accounts and territories, and take on increasing responsibility within our sales organization. What You’ll Do New Business Development Prospect and develop new business with hospitals, imaging centers, surgery centers, physician groups, and other healthcare facilities Make consistent outbound calls and emails to healthcare decision makers Identify purchasing contacts, decision makers, current vendors, product needs, and upcoming opportunities Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities Convert new prospects into long-term Spectrum customers Account Management & Growth Develop relationships with new customers Identify opportunities to expand business across additional products and departments Learn customer purchasing patterns and proactively identify opportunities to improve pricing, supply, and service Follow up on quotes, opportunities, and customer requests Work toward developing and managing your own portfolio of accounts Medical Product Sales Develop strong knowledge of Spectrum's medical imaging and supply portfolio Sell products including contrast media, injector syringes and disposables, medical supplies, imaging equipment, and related solutions Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and cost-saving alternatives Work with manufacturers and internal teams to support larger sales opportunities Sales Performance & CRM Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals Maintain consistent outbound sales activity and prospecting Track customer interactions, opportunities, follow-ups, and pipeline activity in Salesforce Develop an organized sales strategy for assigned accounts and prospects Provide management with visibility into pipeline, opportunities, and account growth What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is competitive, motivated, organized, and interested in building a career in medical sales. Preferred Qualifications 2–5+ years of inside sales, B2B sales, account management, or business development experience Medical supply, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or imaging industry experience is a plus Strong phone, email, communication, and relationship-building skills Comfortable prospecting and developing new business Ability to learn technical products and communicate their value clearly Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred Strong organizational and follow-up skills Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required for candidates with relevant sales experience Career Growth We are looking for someone who wants more than their next sales job.
