Graphics Print Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and Graphic Print Specialist to join our dynamic team in Garfield, NJ! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various production processes, ensuring high-quality output that meets our standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in visual design and proficiency in relevant software applications, ensuring the accuracy of designs and prepping them for print or digital publication Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing layouts and graphics. Assist in the sign manufacturing process by applying typography and layout design principles. Review graphics, layouts, fonts, and spelling before product is sent to print. Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital form. Archive produced images and graphics. Ensure all projects are completed on time while maintaining quality standards. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree required in a related field. Proficiency in typography, layout design, and visual design principles. Knowledge of the printing process and experience with design tools such as Corel Draw, Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress Mus be able to handle repetitious work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a passion for producing high-quality work Exceptional skills at proofing your own work Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate ideas effectively.
