As a Security Officer for Logistics Gate in Torrance, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support security-related operations, and remain visible to help to deter incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity, and support site access procedures for employees, contractors, and authorized guests.
• Observe trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic operational spaces for policy-related concerns, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
