As a Security Officer for Logistics Gate in Long Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work closely with your team, and act with integrity while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas as assigned.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and following post orders for visitor, vendor, and/or delivery traffic.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or supervisors, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and assisting with routine security-related checks across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
