Marketing Manager, Transactions & Private Equity

Transactions and PE Marketing ManagerThe Transactions and PE Marketing Manager supports the execution of marketing programs that drive awareness, client engagement, and pipeline growth for the firm’s transactions advisory practice and increases penetration of firm services through the private equity channel. Working closely with Advisory leadership and the marketing team, this role helps translate business priorities into targeted campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, alliance marketing activities, and go-to-market programs. The position focuses on implementing integrated marketing efforts across priority offerings and sectors, coordinating content and campaign execution, and ensuring alignment with firmwide marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a collaborative, execution-oriented marketer with experience in professional services or B2B environments who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the planning and execution of go-to-market campaigns aligned to priority transactions and private equity offerings, in coordination with overall firm marketing prioritiesCoordinate integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events, and thought leadership channelsWork across interdisciplinary marketing functions to ensure brand alignment, campaign coordination, and marketing asset integrationManage development and distribution of transactions and PE-focused marketing content including insights, case studies, and campaign materialsCoordinate with business leaders, internal subject matter experts, business and marketing teams to deliver unique POVs, campaign assets and programs that address client needsCollaborate with Audit, Tax, and other advisory teams to broaden solution penetration within the private equity channel’s firms and portfolio companies, Track and report on campaign performance metrics such as engagement, lead generation, and pipeline contribution, using metrics to recommend alternative strategies if necessaryMaintain campaign calendars, coordinate project timelines, and ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on scheduleIdentify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, marketing processes, and overall program efficiencyOther duties as assignedTechnical Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; MBA preferred5-7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in B2B professional services, preferably in professional services, consulting or advisory environments – experience/knowledge of private equity and transaction services a plusThorough understanding of various marketing channels and their relevance to achieving strategic business goalsStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to create compelling content and presentationsExcellent project management, critical thinking, and organizational skills with strong attention to detailHighly collaborative and able to work within and through teams to achieve stated goalsDemonstrated ability to be a trusted business partner, consistently sought out for advice by colleagues and stakeholdersInnovative and creative approach to developing work products and solving complex problemsCommitment to actively learning and adopting best practices from across the teamAbility to thrive in a high-growth, matrixed organization with shifting priorities.Advanced skills with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExperience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing toolsCan travel as neededThe base salary range for this position is between $104,000 and $156,000. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity.
