I’m currently recruiting for a Transactional Attorney opportunity with an established Chicago law firm seeking an attorney with strong corporate and commercial transaction experience.

\n

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value matters advising entrepreneurs, developers, investors, lenders, closely held businesses, and established companies.

\n

\n

Role Overview:

\n

The attorney will handle a range of M&A, corporate, commercial real estate, private equity, and business transactions, with significant responsibility for drafting, negotiating, and independently managing matters while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Handle mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions
\n
• Draft, review and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements
\n
• Assist with business formations, restructurings and corporate governance
\n
• Handle commercial real estate transactions
\n
• Work on financing and lending matters
\n
• Conduct due diligence and review transaction-related documents
\n
• Prepare corporate resolutions, disclosure schedules and other transaction documents
\n
• Independently manage assigned matters from beginning through completion
\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school
\n
• Active Illinois Bar admission
\n
• 4+ years of substantive transactional experience
\n
• Strong experience with corporate/M&A and commercial transactions
\n
• Experience with commercial real estate, private equity, lending or related transactional work is highly valued
\n
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
\n

Billable: 1,850 Billable Hours

\n

\n

Salary and Other Compensation:

\n

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $200,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful
