Part Time Hospitalist to join UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC

UNC Health Johnston is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with UNC Rex / UNCHMG, these positions involve delivering high-quality, team-based benefits, including quality bonus, CME, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage. Smithfield is located just thirty minutes from Raleigh, the vibrant state capital. We have great weather, a welcoming community, an energized downtown, and a low cost of living. Schedule: 7 am-7 pm (2-3 shifts biweekly)

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school

• Internal Medicine Residency preferred

• BC/BE

• Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified Internal Medicine
\n
• DEA;MD
\n

Professional Experience Requirements:

\n
• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
\n

\n

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

\n
• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
\n

\n

REASONING ABILITY

\n

High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

\n

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

\n

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine.

\n
