Job Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for our Adolescent Neuropsych Unit. Ideal candidates will have experience working with a neuropsych population due to the high acuity of this unit. The RN may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift without additional pay for those hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adolescent patients with behavioral health issues.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care strategies.
• Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Sunrise charting system.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support verbal and non-verbal communication for patients across various developmental stages.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in behavioral health preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred.
• Experience with the Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR system is desirable.
