Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Becton Dickinson seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence and process improvements in a regulated medical device environment. The role focuses on leading continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing automated equipment, managing capital projects, and delivering operational cost reductions while maintaining FDA and ISO 13485 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve productivity
• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize automated assembly equipment while maintaining quality and compliance
• Analyze manufacturing performance data to identify OEE losses and process improvement opportunities
• Lead capital equipment projects from justification through installation, validation, and production release
• Provide technical leadership and support for daily operations and rapid issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing engineering experience in regulated environment
• Experience with high-speed automated manufacturing and assembly equipment
• Strong knowledge of OEE metrics, Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and statistical process control
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing background preferred
