Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: 9 AM - 6 PM.

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and alleviate pain. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Utilize various treatment techniques to promote mobility and restore function.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention and health maintenance.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to deliver holistic care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
• Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• 2 years of overall experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience with EMR MedHost is preferred.
