Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Impact Giving will provide support to ongoing development efforts with individual, corporate and foundation donors.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Leads with fundraiser proposal and report writing
• Leads research of individual, corporate and foundation prospects
• Leads with Salesforce integration and maintains records in system
• Manage thank you process
• Support the team with donor outreach efforts
• Draft briefings
• Support marketing and communication materials including case statements, special documents for funders, emergency response materials, public policy initiatives
• Manage and track deadlines in the grant calendar
• Work with Impact Program team to stay on top of emerging programmatic priorities

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with administrative/fundraising capacity
• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PPT
• Proficient with a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
• Knowledge of fundraising information sources such as Wealth Engine and RelSci
• Strong people skills with ability to interact with groups and individuals at all levels
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Willingness to take direction

Work Location

Hybrid, based in our Old Town Alexandria, VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
