About the Position Full-time Dental Director opportunity Provide comprehensive general dentistry while serving as the clinical leader for the dental department Supervise and mentor dentists, hygienists, assistants, and support staff Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality assurance initiatives, and performance improvement programs Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medi-Cal, OSHA, HRSA, and other applicable standards Oversee infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical best practices Collaborate with executive leadership and other department managers to improve patient care and operational efficiency Deliver a full scope of general dentistry, including: Comprehensive exams Preventive care Restorative dentistry Extractions Endodontics (root canals) Crowns and bridges Periodontal treatment Digital radiograph interpretation Follow-up and continuing care Opportunity to shape the future of a growing community-based dental program serving patients of all ages Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active California dental license (or ability to obtain) Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Passion for serving underserved and rural populations Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based care Strong communication and team-building skills Compensation & Benefits Salary: $190,000 - $215,000 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Continuing education support Professional licensing and credentialing assistanceMalpractice coverage Full benefits package About the Community Round Mountain is a peaceful Northern California community surrounded by forests, lakes, and outdoor recreation.
