Restoration Construction Project Manager The Project Manager reports to the Site Branch Manager and oversees all pre‑construction activities to ensure successful project roll‑out. Responsibilities include scope job, contract signing, budgeting, ordering materials, planning the job (scheduling trades), lining up subcontractors, and sending the production approval form to the COO. After production approval, the Project Manager runs the job to completion, including final customer approval and collections. The Project Manager assumes primary responsibility for profit and loss on assigned projects, develops and maintains relationships with insurance agents, adjustors, homeowners, and vendors, and ensures all project personnel operate a safe jobsite per OSHA requirements and company policy. Accountabilities Project management experience, preferably in the residential restoration industry Training in and use of PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate, including scope of work Obtain Construction Training certification Obtain Xactimate Level 1 certification Read and understand Matterport Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards and guidelines Exceptional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management Manage multiple projects simultaneously Utilize knowledge of ordering materials, budgeting jobs, and achieving profit margins Leverage the latest server and cloud‑based computer technology, including Xactimate estimating software, Microsoft Office, PSA project management/accounting software, and document management software Actively practice leadership abilities Consistently strive to learn, implement, and maintain a strong understanding of construction operations and procedures Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors May work 48+ hours per week May be on call during catastrophic events Perform other responsibilities as required Required Qualifications Previous construction experience preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate Experience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate is a plus Level 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtain Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times Ability to enter confined spaces, climb on roofs, and lift up to 75 lbs Valid Driver’s License & eligibility to work in the United States Ability to pass a background check and drug screen No felony convictions Compensation Salary $55k–$65k, depending on experience Eligible for commission plan after 90 days and favorable review, possible earnings of 50% to 100% of base salary Health, Vision, Dental, Aflac Paid Time Off 8 Paid Holidays Company Vehicle and fuel card Company laptop provided Cell phone reimbursement Apex DKI is an equal opportunity employer.
