Trident Consulting is seeking a " Product Security Lead " for one of our client in " Burlington, MA ". A global leader in business and technology services. Product Security Lead Location: Burlington, MA (Hybrid) Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire We are seeking a Lead Product Security to join our team in Burlington, MA. This is a highly technical, hands‑on role focused on securing embedded medical devices across the full product lifecycle . Must‑Have Requirements Strong Product Security Engineer background with medical device security experience (mandatory) Highly technical and hands‑on , not just a security architect Experience securing embedded/connected healthcare devices throughout the product lifecycle Expertise in security architecture, secure design, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and penetration testing Strong knowledge of firmware, software, embedded systems, IoT, Windows/Linux hardening Experience with authentication, encryption, secure communications, secure updates, and data protection Hands‑on experience managing third‑party penetration testing engagements Experience working closely with firmware, software, and systems engineering teams Knowledge of healthcare/security standards such as ISO 14971, IEC 81001‑5‑1, NIST, FDA regulations Experience developing security processes, standards, and SOPs Preferred Background Product‑focused security professional from a medical device, healthcare technology, embedded systems, or IoT environment Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare/FDA) Proven track record of building or improving product security programs Target Candidate Profile 7–15 years of Product Security/Cybersecurity/Software Engineering experience Strong mix of architecture + hands‑on technical execution Must come from a product development environment , not purely GRC, governance, or compliance‑focused roles Experience securing medical devices or healthcare products is required Looking for someone highly technical and hands‑on , not just an architect or manager Must come from a product security background Avoid candidates who are primarily GRC, compliance, audit, or policy‑focused Target candidates with approximately 15–20 years maximum , ideally within the product security/medical device space Strong preference for candidates actively involved in designing, implementing, testing, and securing products rather than overseeing security programs only. #J-18808-Ljbffr Trident Consulting
