Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java Participate fully in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution Collaborate with iOS, API, QA, and Product teams to deliver cohesive mobile experiences Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android builds and releases Monitor app performance and support production incident resolution Apply best practices for mobile security, performance, and maintainability Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Experience 3-5 years of software engineering experience 3+ years of Android application development Experience supporting production mobile apps Specialized Skills & Competencies Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java a plus) Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Material Design REST API integration and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, etc.) Experience with automated testing and CI/CD Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, Splunk is a plus Travel or airline industry experience is a plus Other Job Requirements On-Site Work 40 hours in office per week Travel No travel required Physical Effort: Sedentary role with minimal physical exertion EEOC Statement Spirit Airlines is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
