As part of the scheduling team, you will maintain production schedules according to customer needs, maximizing effectiveness and throughput in all aspects of the production process. You will also distribute upcoming schedules to team leads and supervisors and communicate with our leadership team regarding the status of existing orders.**Key Requirements:*** Work with production and shipping to track WIP and finished inventory daily* Work closely with operations and the sales team to optimize mix and overall profitability* Provide direction on production schedule for both facilities by shift and line (limiting changeovers, maximizing output, coordinating the transfer of both WIP and Finished products to facilities, ship outbound loads, etc.).* Execute Perfect Order Rate (On Time x Order Fill Rate) of 97.5%***What You Bring to the Role**** A sense of urgency, accountability, and responsibility* Attention to detail and a drive to get things right the first time* Positive, strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Organizational and time management skills* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in multiple methods such as phone, email and text.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.* An energetic, confident, professional, and team-oriented attitude* Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties and responsibilities.* Ability to multitask and prioritize work* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment* Ability to learn product specifications, customer details and all aspects of production reporting.* Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications* Ability to work a varied schedule supporting operations across shifts, including late nights and early mornings***Work Requirements and Environment & Reasonable Accommodations Statement***This role is based on-site in Harrisonburg, VA. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area.
