Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) specialty position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing surgical assistance in a fast-paced, Level III Trauma Center with a busy general and neuro surgical service. The position requires supporting a variety of surgical procedures with a focus on neuro, ENT, orthopedic, and general surgeries, ensuring operative efficiency and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, with variable start times between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA), or National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA); BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of related experience; location in Wisconsin; and ability to support flexible scheduling, including on-call responsibilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting neuro, ENT, orthopedic, or general surgeries; proficiency with surgical equipment such as Hana and Jackson Tables; experience with EMR systems like EPIC.
