Fabricator - Metal Manufacturing
Location: Fresno, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator for a metal manufacturing facility in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards in a production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, grind, weld, and assemble metal components to specification.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, presses, grinders, drills, and other shop machinery.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of welding and metalworking processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work history.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hand tools.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour
