\nJoin a collaborative, multidisciplinary Sports Medicine team dedicated to a comprehensive, athlete-centered approach to care.
\nOur program focuses on whole-athlete wellness, including acute medical care, rehabilitation, nutrition, and a strong emphasis on mental health and performance. This is a PRN role with a flexible schedule and no call required.
\nSaint Alphonsus Sports Medicine is leading innovation in the market by delivering high-quality services to a wide range of athletic organizations and communities.
\nWe are seeking a Sports Mental Performance Coach who is passionate about supporting the mental health and performance of athletes. This role provides evidence-based, goal-oriented care through individualized and group educational sessions. Services may be delivered both on-site and via telemedicine to best meet the needs of the athletes we serve.
\nSupport: Sports Medicine department includes Board Certified Sports Medicine physicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Nutritionist, and significant administration support
\nRequirements :
\n- \n
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Sport Psychology or a closely related field \n
- PhD or PsyD (preferred) \n
- Current state licensure as needed or indicated by degree (or license-eligible) \n
- Training in sport/performance psychology. \n
- Experience working with professional athletes and teams (preferred). \n
- Experience working with medical professionals on a consistent basis (preferred). \n
- Maintains up to date knowledge of theories and practices in the field of Sport Psychology. \n
- Willingness to obtain Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) \n
- CMPC (preferred) \n
