Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients through standardized assessments and clinical observations.
• Design tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing short-term goals alongside long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Provide individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on a range of areas, including communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of occupational and physical therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure cohesive care strategies.
• Educate patients and families, equipping them with the skills to nurture progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure a smooth continuum of care for ongoing needs.
• Maintain precise and punctual documentation adhering to established state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory within 30 days of hiring.
