Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized evaluations and observational insights.

Craft tailored treatment strategies that align with specific short-term objectives and broader long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations.

Deliver one-on-one speech therapy focused on various aspects of communication including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure integrated care approaches.

Educate patients and their families to support ongoing progress outside of clinical appointments.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the therapy journey.

Uphold precise and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and institutional guidelines.

Engage in continual learning through professional development and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as needed prior to ASHA certification.

Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatments across all age ranges, with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues.

Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to modify therapeutic techniques to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Good clinical judgment and strong problem-solving aptitude.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation practices.
