Join our Clinical Operations team as a Cardiac Monitoring Technician and help deliver high-quality patient care through accurate ECG analysis. Job Overview The Cardiac Monitoring Technician supports Zio AT Services, responsible for reviewing 90‑second ECG strip data and corresponding algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, using iRhythm’s Transmissions tools for all records. The role requires a hybrid schedule with onsite and remote work, weekly office attendance, reliable high‑speed internet, and a location within 70 miles of Deerfield unless otherwise designated. Responsibilities Review 90‑second ECG strip data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Transmissions tools for 100% of all records. Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly ECG rhythm interpretation skills. Perform 100% of the quality assurance of reports provided to medical professionals and provide report format modifications and additions as requested. Communicate critical findings to medical professionals verbally and in writing, when applicable. Contact patients via telephone to obtain follow‑up transmissions as indicated, when applicable. Adhere to HIPAA Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices. Maintain compliance with job‑specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification (RN or Paramedic may qualify). Meet or exceed the productivity and quality metrics as defined for the role. Complete all required new hire training, onboarding, and ongoing compliance requirements. Demonstrate the ability to perform cardiac rhythm analysis and interpretation with accuracy and consistency. Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in arrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythms. Work independently as well as collaboratively. Manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Commit to quality, compliance, and continuous learning. Apply working knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiology. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. Commit to professionalism, ethical conduct, and the delivery of high‑quality work products that support patient care and client needs. Participate in cross‑training and production of Zio XT Final Reports, as expected. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or two years of college coursework preferred). Valid Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification; RN or Paramedic (EMT‑P) may be accepted in lieu of CCT per company policy. Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, health insurance, or medical device industry, or equivalent in education/training. Preferred: experience in patient care, clinical operations, lab setting, or other diagnostic environment. Minimum of 1 year ECG monitoring or related field with emphasis in cardiac rhythm interpretation (CCT, Holter Technician, Cardiac Rehabilitation, RN, Nurse, Paramedic with Critical Care Transport). Strong interpersonal skills with ability to coach, mentor, and facilitate training effectively. Effective communication skills, conveying complex clinical content understandably. PC proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, other MS Office applications, Windows, and the Transmissions Tool. Intermediate to advanced rhythm interpretation skills. Knowledge of medical terminology specific to cardiology. Problem‑solving ability: define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance. Strong work ethic and desire to deliver high‑quality outcomes to clients and patients. Ability to attend local IDTF shifts as required by business needs. Work Environment / Physical Demands Work in a hybrid setting with occasional onsite requirements at the Deerfield office.
