Maintenance Manager

Autoneum is globally leading in acoustic and thermal management for light and commercial vehicles. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight and sustainable components and systems for interior floor, interior trim as well as engine bay and underbody. Customers include almost all automobile manufacturers in Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa. Oversees Maintenance Strategy for Equipment and Facilities to reach high operational & reliability levels. Main purpose is to minimize production downtime through proactive maintenance strategies, manage maintenance staff and budgets, and coordinate repairs to maintain operational continuity, safety and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Create and manage maintenance policies, procedures, and plans for facilities and equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and output. Manage Maintenance Operations: Oversee both preventive (scheduled) and corrective (breakdown) maintenance activities, responding to emergencies as needed. Team Leadership and Staff Management: Recruit, train, guide, evaluate, and motivate maintenance technicians and staff to perform their duties effectively. Budget and Inventory Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, monitor equipment performance, and ensure adequate spare parts, tools, and supplies are available. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities and facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations to prevent accidents. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and equipment performance, and submit reports to upper management. Implement TPM strategy for operations and train operators to take care of basic maintenance routines. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Skill in evaluating equipment resources, identifying issues, and developing efficient solutions to minimize downtime. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance field within an industrial environment. Technical & Managerial background. Experience with CMMS systems - preferred SAP PM. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, HVAC, and tooling systems. Budget management and financial understanding (OPEX/CAPEX).
