Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager who will own the client delivery outcomes at Rocksoft . This means client projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standard.

You will manage 4–6 active projects simultaneously, work directly with development teams , and be the primary delivery of contact for our clients around the globe. You will report directly to the CEO.

Rocksoft is a Polish software development company serving clients across Europe. We build custom web applications and digital products and provide ongoing technical support for businesses in Norway, the UK, the US, and Western Europe, with ambitions to expand into new markets. Our team is small, senior, and hands‑on. We value ownership, clear communication, and deliver results over process theatre.

We are growing. As part of a deliberate restructuring, we are creating a dedicated Project Manager role to own client delivery, freeing our leadership to focus on commercial growth and strategic partnerships.

The role

We are looking for a Project Manager who will own the client delivery outcomes at Rocksoft. This means client projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standard. You will be the single person accountable for making that happen across our client portfolio.

This is not a coordination role. It is an ownership role. You will manage 4–6 active projects simultaneously, work directly with development teams, and be the primary delivery of contact for our clients around the globe. You will report directly to the CEO.

What you will do

• Own project delivery – run standups, manage timelines, control scope, and ensure projects ship as promised.
• Manage client communication – serve as the delivery voice for our clients: status updates, expectation management, and issue escalation.
• Run ClickUp and delivery processes – maintain task boards, track progress, and keep delivery infrastructure organized.
• Coordinate with development teams – work with developers to unblock issues, prioritize work, and maintain momentum.
• Handle scope changes – identify scope creep early, document changes, and negotiate adjustments with clients and the commercial team.
• Support invoicing handoffs – ensure delivery data supports accurate and timely client billing.
• Flag expansion opportunities – when clients mention new needs during delivery, flag them for the commercial team to follow up.

Where this role is going

This is a role that grows with the company. Your immediate focus will be on owning delivery for our existing client portfolio and building a reliable delivery operation. But as Rocksoft expands, so does this role.

We are actively investing in AI-assisted project management, using tools like Claude to streamline delivery workflows, reporting, and client communication. You will have the opportunity to explore and shape how these tools are used in practice, rather than just following a playbook written by someone else.

Rocksoft is also expanding into new European markets. As we cross into new countries and client segments, the Project Manager will be part of building the delivery capability that enables that growth. This is not a static role; it is a foundation for something bigger.

Who you are

Must-have

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT / software development
• English at B2/C1 level for daily communication with international clients
• Polish native speaker
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with different scopes and stakeholders
• Comfortable with project management tools (we use ClickUp)
• Strong written and verbal communication. You set expectations, not just relay information
• Outcome-oriented mindset. You care about results, not just ticking boxes

Nice-to-have

• Experience working with Scandinavian or Western European clients
• Familiarity with agile delivery (sprint-based work, scope control)
• Understanding of web application development (you do not need to code, but you should understand what developers do)
• Experience with B2B service companies (not just product teams)
• Interest in AI tools and willingness to experiment with new ways of working
